In less then a week (next Monday) we get to find out what we are having, besides just a baby! We are very excited and I'm almost certain this time it is a boy. If you haven't been keeping up with me on facebook, you might have missed out on all my posts about puking! Well it is true. I have never been so sick with any of my last pregnancies, which is why this has me thinking this might be a boy??? Or I could just be one of those ladies that gets sicker with each pregnancy. If that is the case, this might be it. Probably not though, and I'll probably do it all over again. Oh the joys.
Kent has officially become a, "trooper", meaning that his probationary stage of becoming a state police officer has been completed. He is doing great and looks really strong. No really he does. He's been lifting with one of his buddies several times a week at the gym and taking loads and loads of protein. All you bad guys out there, you'd better watch out!
The girls are doing well. Chloe likes to repeat everything that Eden says. She's pretty agreeable for the most part, but if Eden has tested her one time to many, then Chloe is pretty good at standing up for herself. I've even heard Eden say, "Chloe is mad at me...". Well, duh! She is one lady that doesn't like to be pushed around. But who does really?
It is still winter out here in lovely La Grande. I have almost forgotten what sunshine is. Can you remind me? Anyone??
We found out that Kent did not get his transfer request. We were bummed at first, but are starting to realize how much fun we can have out here! We are looking at homes. Homes to purchase. This will be our first. I'm a little stressed out. Between the puking and looking at homes, I'm a little spent. But I'm hanging in there. We think we might have found one. Oh dear.
I am very anxious to plant a garden. I would also like to have chickens. Although, since being pregnant, I can't do eggs. Everybody else in the family has no aversions however. I'm sure once I'm done being pregnant I'll go back to liking them. Until then, nobody scrambles an egg in this house-or else! Poor Kent, he's had to make them outside on the bbq grill! The smell is what I can't stand and the texture and taste. This wasn't a problem before. How strange! Oh that and red meat..but that's for another post.
We just got back from a fun time visiting family. It was one busy week! But we did it all. We even were able to go to Portland for a few days with my mom and she took me shopping. I love when my mom takes me shopping! This is a once a year type of thing, and so it was so much fun! Kent came along and took Eden on a movie date to go see, "Rango". Eden loved it. I'm pretty sure Kent did just as much! Chloe got to hang out back with me and my mom. She had a good time riding around in a fire truck stroller (you know the ones you rent from malls. I had forgotten to pack a stroller. Forgetfulness is another thing that has been also giving me trouble this time around too!)
I wish that we had more time back with family when we were there. We enjoyed it, but its nice to be back in our own home now.
Well I'm going to go and sneak a piece of chocolate before the girls wake up from their naps! And I would post a picture of myself, but I am fearful that my tummy is not the only thing that is expanding and quite frankly, its not a pretty sight!
