Halloween 2011~So Fun!

Here are some pictures from our Halloween festivities this year. My mom was in town to help with the night and took these pictures. A few are sideways since I couldn't figure out how to turn them. So just turn your head, okay? (above Eden has her finished hair and make up complete, she loves to wear make up when I let her, which is only during times like this)

Eden and Chloe decided to be princesses again this year. Maybe next year too...there's a good chance of that! Luci was a baby bumble bee. Luci went along fine with the whole dress up thing, so I would say her first Halloween was a success! She sometimes had a look on her face while we were getting her dressed like what in the world are you doing to me?! But she didn't complain!

Again at the last minute I decided to dress up. Some family in Utah sent the girls matching tutus and tops with matching hair bows. I tried (even tried bribing) both older girls to wear these cute bumble bee tutus to match baby Luci but they had their hearts set on being princesses. So Luci and I both matched each other. I was able to wear Eden's tutu and hair bow and I think it went well. Last year I dressed up as a princess to match the older girls, wearing an old high school formal that I wore to prom. Thank goodness for keeping those old dresses!

So what was Kent? He dressed up as a Portland Occupier. You know, "We are the 99%" people. The ones that are taking over downtown Portland...you know the ones. He dressed up in totally random clothing and then wore a sign that said, "We are the 99%". He looked great!

Below are some more pictures of the girls from the night. We went to the Church for a chili and corn bread dinner and then headed out to the parking lot for some trunk or treating. We then got word that the Bishop's wife was at their house handing out full size candy bars, so we booked it over there and made a stop. We finished up the night by visiting some other friends and the headed home. The girls were tired, and so were we!

The girls left their candy out for the "candy fairy" so that she would come while they were sleeping and take their candy and leave them a few dollars to go buy a little toy in exchange. Kids don't need all that candy, especially little kids like mine, and so this is great set up. Kent really likes it too, ha!

Hope your Halloween was great!

Another picture I was unable to turn. Still cute though. Little Luci as a bumble bee. I think she likes it.

Outside on our steps before we headed out. Poor Luci is not having a fun time right now. Chloe is posing as a princess, doesn't she look lovely?
We got Luci to smile AND laugh!
